Still got Love for the Streets n.3: la superficie come intonaco<\/h2>\n

Il fondo \u00e8 ocra e verde oliva, steso a strati spessi, con la grana di un intonaco rimasto fuori per molti inverni. In alto a sinistra le tags nere si aprono in E larghe e tonde, come cerchi. Sul bordo destro scendono due archi, uno rosso e uno giallo. Qua e l\u00e0 restano piccole macchie rosse, come vernice sopravvissuta a una pulizia.<\/p>\n

\"Still<\/p>\n

Dal muro allo studio<\/h3>\n

Nel 2010 il mio lavoro si stava spostando dai muri allo studio. Questa tela sta esattamente in mezzo. Il gesto \u00e8 quello di chi scrive in strada, veloce e senza ripensamenti. Il tempo invece \u00e8 quello della pittura, che torna pi\u00f9 volte sulla stessa superficie, aggiunge, copre, lascia asciugare.<\/p>\n

Il risultato \u00e8 una superficie lenta con dentro segni rapidi. Le tags non sono decorazione: sono la traccia di una scrittura che conosco a memoria, portata su un supporto che pu\u00f2 durare.<\/p>\n

Il colore della terra<\/h3>\n

Rispetto alla n.2 il colore acceso qui si ritira. Il rosso e il giallo restano ai margini, sul bordo destro, quasi fuori campo. Al centro c\u2019\u00e8 solo materia: ocra, verde, grigio, con le crepe e gli spessori di uno strato steso sopra l\u2019altro. \u00c8 la parte di un muro che di solito non si guarda, quella che sta tra una scritta e l\u2019altra. In basso a sinistra due forme scure e un segno bianco sono gli unici tratti netti di tutta la met\u00e0 inferiore.<\/p>\n

Si trova in una collezione privata a Londra; stampe non ne sono state fatte.<\/p>\n
