Still got love for the streets no. 6<\/em> \u00e8 la tela pi\u00f9 silenziosa della serie: 120 \u00d7 100 cm, tecnica mista su tela, 2010, quasi tutta in grigio e blu. Ha lo stesso formato della n.4<\/a>, ma va nella direzione opposta: dove quella si affolla, questa toglie.<\/p>\n

Still got Love for the Streets n.6: scritte sotto la velatura<\/h2>\n

In alto, su una fascia scura, le lettere sono chiare e colano verso il basso. Pi\u00f9 sotto una velatura grigio-azzurra copre un\u2019altra scritta, rossa, che si legge appena. A destra la superficie si rompe in lembi di carta e intonaco. In basso a sinistra una sola linea bianca, netta, taglia il bordo. Sono tre strati di scrittura, uno sopra l\u2019altro, e ognuno si legge meno di quello prima.<\/p>\n

\"Still<\/p>\n

Amore, senza ironia<\/h3>\n

Il titolo si potrebbe leggere come un ricordo: ancora affezionato alla strada, nonostante tutto. Non \u00e8 cos\u00ec. La strada non \u00e8 nostalgica, \u00e8 quotidiana. \u00c8 presente. Non \u00e8 \u201cancora amore per le strade\u201d: \u00e8 amore, continuo, senza ironia.<\/p>\n

Per questo il colore qui si spegne quasi del tutto. Ma \u00e8 un silenzio a cui si arriva, non da cui si parte. Dopo anni passati a riempire muri e treni di lettere piene, colori accesi e pezzi grandi il doppio di questa tela, togliere diventa la scelta pi\u00f9 difficile. E la pi\u00f9 forte: una fascia di lettere chiare e una scritta che si legge appena possono dire pi\u00f9 di mille colori.<\/p>\n

Resta il rosso, sotto la velatura, per chi si avvicina.<\/p>\n

Toni bassi, ambienti diversi<\/h3>\n

I grigi e i blu reggono pareti scure e materiali pesanti: velluto bordeaux, ottone, marmo. Su un muro di mattoni, in uno spazio di lavoro con grandi finestre, la tela torna invece vicina al muro da cui viene. In una stanza bianca e minimale diventa la sola presenza scura, e la fascia di lettere in alto si legge da lontano.<\/p>\n

Oggi l\u2019opera \u00e8 in una collezione privata a Roma. Non ne esistono stampe.<\/p>\n
