{"id":679,"date":"2026-05-04T16:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T14:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kende.design\/?post_type=product&#038;p=679"},"modified":"2026-07-28T02:03:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-28T00:03:33","slug":"for-emmy-and-for","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/kende.design\/en\/prodotto\/for-emy-n-4\/","title":{"rendered":"For Emy n.4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Painted in 2012, <span class=\"s1\"><i>For Emy n.4<\/i><\/span> concludes the series <span class=\"s1\"><i>For Emy<\/i><\/span>, a series of four large panels that represents one of the most comprehensive expressions of the calligraphic exploration developed by Kende in the early years of his contemporary artistic career.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">With its monumental scale, the work transforms the urban sign into a physical and architectural presence. The writing extends beyond its linguistic function, becoming structure, rhythm and spatial composition. The calligraphic forms emerge, overlap and disappear within a complex surface where every trace retains the memory of the gesture that created it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In this fourth panel, the composition achieves a distinctive formal maturity. The layers of texture, the glazes and the gestural touches interact in perfect balance, creating a surface that invites a slow and gradual appreciation. From a distance, the work appears as a single visual entity; up close, however, it reveals a multitude of details, erasures and calligraphic fragments that bear witness to the creative process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the final instalment in the series, <span class=\"s1\"><i>For Emy n.4<\/i><\/span> it also serves as a synthesis. The themes explored in the previous panels \u2014 the tension between spontaneity and control, between urban memory and pictorial construction, between figuration and abstraction \u2014 find here a particularly balanced and deliberate form.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Viewed on its own, the work possesses a strong visual autonomy.
