Sketchbook A5 Horizontal Purple

Sketchbook A5 Horizontal Purple is an original sketchbook, a unique piece drawn entirely by hand. It holds two hundred pages of black-and-white sketches, with a single colour explored in a range of shades, in which Kende’s calligraphic research can be read in its most direct form: the working notebook becomes an artwork, page after page. Alongside the evolution of the lettering, the pages explore the pairing of a single colour across different scales and tones: in this case, purple.
