“Bitch” It is a series of works – large-format paintings – born of a specific impulse: anger. Not the kind that is shouted out, but the kind that settles, that finds no outlet and so builds up in layers, overlaps, and consumes itself. Kende brings it to the surface and lets it evolve. Layer upon layer, the mark becomes denser, thicker, more illegible. Then something changes. On the lighter outer edge, where the paint thins out, something resembling light emerges: not an answer, but an open space. The anger does not disappear. It dissolves. Like certain nocturnal encounters that are never spoken of but remain etched in the memory, in the paint, in the gesture that marked them.

The first work in the series opens with the largest format: 200 × 140 cm (landscape), 6 cm thick. A large-format panel designed for contemporary spaces, large enough to define a space all on its own, yet proportioned so as not to overwhelm it. An architectural presence that defines the space around it.
The composition unfolds through a dense network of overlapping dark calligraffiti, drips and textural elements that evoke the visual complexity of European urban walls: those walls that, at night, become living surfaces, inhabited by marks and by those who leave them. Black marks, grey transparencies and turquoise accents intertwine in a structure that it preserves the energy of graffiti and transforms it into painting. The panoramic format emphasises the horizontal reading, like an urban wall observed over time, where each layer tells a different story from the one it covers.
At the centre, the density is at its greatest: the anger is still there, visible in the material even when the words are no longer legible. Towards the corners, the surface lightens, the marks become sparser, revealing elements that may evoke an atavistic rust but also shades of gold – corners where the layers have not quite managed to cover everything. It is not peace. It is the moment when the confusion begins to give way to those glimmers, allowing it to shine once more.
Bitch No. 1 is dissolutionism in its most direct form: aemotion that permeates the material and is transformed by it — not resolved, but settled.
Within the designed space, "Bitch No. 1" brings the layering of the urban dissolution in residential settings, hospitality venues and contemporary research spaces. The dense surface of the wooden panel complements fine materials — stone, concrete, raw wood — whilst the palette of blacks, greys and turquoise accents with touches of gold is well-suited to settings seeking an original piece with character and depth. A large-format ‘calligraffiti’ available as a unique original, ready to find its place.

The artwork is unique and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity: a hand-signed signature, a numbered hologram and a wax seal, with the dimensions and catalogue code B125 written by hand. It is contemporary Italian art from 2025, with documented roots in European graffiti culture — research into calligraffiti and on the urban dissolution project I have been working on for over twenty years, as described in the on my page and in the study updates.
The original panel is available for immediate purchase. For those looking for the same artwork in a smaller size, the following are available limited-edition fine art prints. You can view ‘Bitch No. 1’ in your room with room.kende.design before making a decision, or contact me to commission a work of ‘dissolvism’ on calligraffiti created on commission, designed exclusively for your space.
